The "IS50-LO/GL" is a fiber optic thermometer equipped with a blackbody tube for glass melting furnaces, which achieves accurate temperature measurement by applying blackbody paint to the bottom surface of a ceramic tube with a platinum cap inserted into the furnace bottom, simulating a blackbody and capturing infrared radiation from that spot. Since it is fiber optic, cooling of the device is unnecessary at around 200°C. By implementing this system, we propose significant cost savings.
